Teachers can act to improve the personal and professional experiences of themselves and their colleagues, as well as make the learning experiences of their students more effective and more engaging. Rushton Hurley has been a Japanese language teacher, a principal of an online high school, a teacher trainer, an educational technology researcher, and a school reform consultant. Rushton is the founder and executive director of Next Vista for Learning, which houses a free library of videos by and for teachers and students at NextVista.org. At FETC 2017, Rushton will be leading Enhance Staff Meetings Using Free Technology for Collaborative Professional Development.
