Why shouldn't Professional Development be just as engaging as the classes we want for our students? Just like every student has unique needs, teachers need personalized professional learning to help them transition their classrooms. Understanding how to implement professional learning that meets the different needs of all teachers can be an overwhelming task. We will be leading you in discussions on the following topics:
  • What professional learning has been most meaningful for you, and why did they work better than other instances?
  • What are some models of professional learning that work?
  • What strategies can we deploy to increase opportunities for personalized professional learning?
The Friday Institute is part of NC State's College of Education.
