Video and Animation can be the most effective media to transfer ideas and call people to action. How can we tailor their use to the classroom, and how do we make it easy for students to create their own videos and animations to explore, learn, and master content?
On April 10, Deepti Chopra returns to Edchat Interactive, along with her daughter Divya Chopra, to lead a session to explore video and animation creation and the Plotagon app. We will explore:
Are there content areas that lend themselves especially to video?
What are the elements of good video and animation?
How do you create video and animation using Plotagon?
How do you lead students in projects where they can create videos and animation to demonstrate mastery?
Deepti Chopra is an enthusiastic and compassionate teacher who loves being with small children. She is a Preprimary teacher at the Ahlcon Intenational School in India. Mrs. Chopra strongly believes that she can achieve her goals by organised teaching and hard work. She works with a realization that every child is unique and learns at her own pace. She is a learner at heart and involves herself continuously in professional development courses. She likes to explore new apps and tools, and is a certified educator of Nearpod & Pear deck .She implements innovative activities and various Ed tech tools like Plotagon, Flipgrid, Quizizz, Buncee, Augmented Reality etc in her class to make learning an enjoyable experience for her students. Mrs. Chopra has also conducted webinars as a resource person for Teach A Class foundation.
She was awarded for Best Academic Performance and also got Merit Award for High Quality Contribution to Class Discussion entire cohort of International Certificate In Education For Preschool Professional by Asian International College. She has received Rising Star Award and Tata Class edge Classroom Championship prize too. She has also joined the global community of TeachSDGs Ambassador. Mrs. Chopra most recently was selected for the Best Educator award by Powerful Women Awards 2021.
